Steam Sales

I've created a simple to follow flowchart for Steam Holiday Sales. Often times people will simply purchase a game during the sales and then proceed to post somewhere about how "I just bought this game and then 10 minutes later it went on sale for less!" Follow the chart to ensure you don't become that person.

1. Set a budget and stick to it
2. Discounts will usually range anywhere from 10-75%, although a very few may reach as high as 80-90%
3. Daily Deals last between 36 to 48 hours
4. Flash Sales last between 6 and 18 hours
5. Community Choices last about 12 hours
6. If by the end of the Holiday Sale a game has not been one of the previous deals buy it on the last day
7. Buy your games as a gift, this way if you have buyers remorse you can still trade or sell the game
8. Add games you're interested in buying to your wishlist
9. If you miss a sale don't worry as most deals end up as repeats later on
